This client was able to start this business, located on 271 Water Street, in the summer of 2021, less than two years after he first applied to the PEI Provincial Nominee Program: Business Impact Stream. Due to travel restrictions caused by Covid-19, this client did experience some delays when it came to arriving on PEI. He had his interview with the Office of Immigration in December of 2019. His Work Permit Support Letter was issued about six months later and his Work Permit was approved December 2020. Two months later he and his family arrived on PEI and soon started preparing to open the training centre.
Co-work Co-win Training Centre offers a flexible co-working office space, an event venue as well as pre-employment skills training and job placement services. Youth, people with disabilities or special needs, individuals experiencing challenges finding employment are welcome to access the services.
