Work Permit Stream
The GB PEI Fee includes community endorsement meeting arrangement (if necessary based on the potential applicant’s EOI score), final review of PEI PNP and PR applications, legal representation provided by a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), and legal advice provided by a Canadian lawyer is refundable. First Payment is refundable if the applicant does not receive an Invitation of Appeal (ITA) from the PEI Office of Immigration.

Business Sectors
PEI PNP applicants under the Business Impact Category need to select a business sector for the business concept and business plan.

Application Process
- Pre-Application Stage

- Community Endorsement for the 10 points or 15 points (if needed)
- We recommend you visit PEI for 2-3 days for an endorsement meeting. However, communities are currently not granting endorsement meetings due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Expression of Interest (EOI) Profile Submission
- Our team can help you register your EOI profile within 1 business day.
- Invitation to Apply (ITA)
- Processing time from Step 1 to Step 4 is approx. 3 months. Upon receipt of the ITA, we have 60 days to submit your formal application
- Invitation to Interview (ITI)
- You need to wait for 4-6 months after submission of the formal application. Interviews are currently done virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic
- Issuance of Work Permit Support Letter
- Usually 3-4 weeks after the interview with the PEI Office of Immigration
- Apply for a Work Permit
- It usually takes 3-4 weeks to prepare your Work Permit application Processing time for a Work Permit application varies depending on where you are applying from, but it generally takes 3-4 months
- Arrival & Establishing your business in PEI
- Operate the business for 12 months and obtain the nomination from Government for PR application
- Nomination & Permanent Residence
- The process takes about 12-14 months and during this time, you must maintain the business.

Once you receive an invitation to apply (ITA) from the PEI Office of Immigration, you need to provide to GB PEI a full package including all the government forms and required supporting documents as listed in the application guide within 45 days. GB PEI will conduct a comprehensive final review of the complete application package and provide feedback before submitting the complete application package to the PEI Office of Immigration. The complete application package must be received by the PEI Office of Immigration within 60 days of the issue of an ITA. It takes about 5-7 months from submission of a complete PEI PNP business application to the issue of a Letter of Support for Work Permit application.
