Prince Edward Island (PEI)
Prince Edward Island (PEI) is one of the four Atlantic provinces on the east coast of Canada. Atlantic Time Zone is GMT-4, one hour ahead of Toronto and four hours ahead of Vancouver.
PEI is the smallest province in land area in Canada. The land area of PEI is 5,660 km2.
PEI has the highest population growth rate in Canada in 2017! According to the Prince Edward Island Population Report 2018 published by the Department of Finance of PEI Statistics Bureau, the population of PEI in 2017 is 152,021. It has increased by 1.7% from 2016 to 2017 while the growth rate of population in Canada for the same period is 1.2%. It was estimated that there were 2,264 international immigrants migrated to PEI in 2017.
