The minimum language requirement of PEI PNP Business Impact Category is CLB 4 for English. In the Expression of Interest (EOI) system of PEI PNP, potential applicants of the Business Impact Category can get up to 50 points for English language ability. The language test such as as IELTS must be written within the last 2 years. IELTS General Training is accepted for the Business Impact Category.

Although Kary obtained CLB 4 in Reading, Listening and Writing, her Speaking score is CLB 3. Because of that, her CLB score for PEI PNP Business Impact Category is CLB 3 and therefore, she is not eligible to apply.
Bonus 10 Points in EOI If an applicant has both NCLC 4 in an acceptable French test and CLB 4 in an acceptable English test, the applicant can get a bonus of 10 points in the EOI.
