Experience the best day trip you could ever take by visiting Victoria-by-the-Sea. The small fishing village on the south shore is idyllic and offers some of the best food available in the summer on PEI. I’d recommend going to Island Chocolates and getting a mocha with whipped cream and wandering around the tree-lined streets of the tiny town or walk along the shoreline. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, please order the fish n’ chips at the Lobster Barn because it’s the most delicious fish n’ chips on the whole Island!

More adventurous types can rent a kayak or paddle board from By the Sea Kayaking Tours or Rentals (902-658-2572/902-658-2700)
Victoria-by-the-Sea is also a great place to go shopping with its variety of small artisan shops selling pottery, sea glass jewelry, stained glass, art, and more.
